PROHIBITION OF THE IMPORTATION OF USED LIQUIFIED PETROLEUM GAS (LPG) CYLINDERS. LEGISLATIVE INSTRUMENT (L.I.) 1693: 2001
The Ghana Standards Board and the National Petroleum Authority, wish to bring to the attention of importers and the general public the Legislative Instrument (L.I.) 1693: (2001) which states, inter alia
That in exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister responsible for Trade and Industry under Section 12 and 13 (a) of the Export and import Act, 1995 (Act 503)
The importation of used Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Cylinders is hereby prohibited.

In line with the corporate mission to regulate, oversee and monitor activities in the Petroleum Downstream Industry, the National Petroleum Authority has opened a Zonal office in Kumasi with effect from January 21, 2008.

Notice For Bulk Road Vehicles
The National Petroleum Authority wishes to refer all operators of Bulk Road Vehicles (BRVs) to the Public Notices of October 07, 2002 and May 10, 2006 which spelt out in detail requirements for the registration and licensing of all BRV’s engaged in bulk transportation of petroleum products in the country.
