The National Petroleum Authority is inviting interested local Firms to submit proposals expressing interest, together with company profiles for pre-qualification and approval for The Construction of Office interiors on the second (2nd) Floor, Takyi Plaza, Plot #40, Spintex Road Accra . The Employer of this project is the National Petroleum Authority.
The pre-qualification procedure will be used to select and qualify firms with the required expertise/capabilities in executing proficient designs and construction of the following specialist works:
• Partitioning, Doors, Fixed Glazing, Bulkhead Ceilings
• Electrical Installations
• Air Conditioning Installations
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Furniture
• Signage
The scope of services/works to be provided includes:
• Preliminary/Detailed designs/reports/working drawings and final BOQs and contract documents
• Construction of approved works and Contract Administration
Only firms of high repute intending to offer “Quality Engineering and Construction Services” on the above projects are requested to respond to this call and express interest by the deadline of Thursday, 11th December 2008.
Firms must submit the following:
• Covering letter expressing Firm’s interest in each project area indicated above
• Company profile indicating project summaries, corporate brochures and signed resumes of all key and support personnel and other relevant documents, meeting the pre-qualification criteria.
• Construction firms will also be required to show the following: Company Registration Certificate, valid labour clearance certificate, valid tax clearance certificate, valid VAT Certificate and valid SSNIT clearance certificate
• Firms must show adequate experience in works/services of similar nature applied for.
• A minimum of 3 years general working experience and two (2) years relevant experience (i.e. between 2004 and 2007)
• Firms will be required to show healthy financial capacity such as the following:
a) Adequate working capital in terms of annual turnover to the tune of GH¢150,000.00 over the last five (5) years]
b) Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years, with net assets of GH¢250,000.00, or above
• Submissions should be delivered by hand in two (2) copies to the NPA head-office located at FREMA HOUSE, SPINTEX ROAD, Accra on or before 10.00am, Wednesday 10th DECEMBER 2008.
